After five years, Würth Additive Group, the additive manufacturing and digital inventory arm of the world’s largest industrial fastener distributor, is closing its business operations.
Würth announced the closure July 14 on LinkedIn.
Led by former CEO AJ Strandquist, who stepped down in June, WAG launched in April 2021 to provide expanded industrial 3D printing products and services, including financing and rental options. The group aimed to streamline customer supply chains and increase adaptability through additive manufacturing and digital inventory.
