Würth Additive Group CEO AJ Strandquist is stepping down.

“Leaving the team at Würth Additive Group is the most bittersweet part,” he stated. “Anyone who has lived the startup lifestyle knows those experiences create strong bonds. You face challenges, successes, and failures together — and with the right people around you, the wins are sweeter and the difficult moments hurt a lot less.”

He joined Würth in 2014, and was named WAG CEO in 2021.

“For the immediate future, I’m taking some time to focus on family, pursuing some training and academic challenges, and evaluate the right long-term fit that comes next.”

Strandquist said he is open to “select project and consulting opportunities where my background in operations, sales/marketing, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, and technology integration can help organizations solve problems and scale effectively.”
