Switzerland-based SFS Group reported mild sales growth for 2025, with the Fastening Systems segment’s sales declining by about 1%.
SFS generated sales of CHF 3.06 million (US$3.98 million) and organic growth of 2.9%. However, foreign currency effects of –2.9% continued to significantly reduce sales growth, resulting in year-on-year sales growth of only 0.6%.
In the Fastening Systems segment, sales dropped 0.9% to CHF 574.6 million. Among the group’s three business segments, Fastening Systems was the only segment to report reduced sales.
In the Engineered Components segment, sales increased by 1.7% year-on-year to CHF 1,134.4 million, while sales in the Distribution & Logistics segment rose slightly by 0.3% year-on-year to CHF 1,347.6 million.
Uncertainty remained high in end markets and reluctance to invest continued to dampen market momentum. In addition, excess capacity, particularly in the automotive industry and industrial manufacturing in Europe, has caused demand to decline.
The company will publish its 2025 annual report on March 6.
SFS manufactures mechanical fastening systems, components and tools for the construction, automotive, electronics, aircraft and medical industries. The group reports more than 10,000 employees at 80 locations.
