Semblex Corporation hired Dan Curtis as director of continuous improvement.
Curtis joins Semblex from MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, where he worked for 22 years in various engineering roles. In 2023 he served as vice chairman of the Industrial Fasteners Institute, followed by chairing the IFI board in 2024.
He earned an MBA in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and a BS in manufacturing engineering technology from Western Illinois University.
Founded in 1968, Elmhurst, IL-based Semblex manufactures cold form products and assemblies for automotive, consumer electronics, farm equipment, heavy truck and motorcycle industries. Since 2014, Semblex has been a subsidiary of South Korean fastener manufacturer Jinhap Co. Ltd.
