Salix Group AB has agreed to acquire all shares in Arvid Nilsson, a Nordic specialist supplier of fasteners.

The acquisition expands Salix’s fastening portfolio beyond Heco’s retail-focused wood and construction screws.

Arvid Nilsson will continue to operate as an independent sister company to Heco within the Consumables Trade & Agriculture business area, and management will remain in place and continue to develop the business together with Salix Group.

By combining Heco and Arvid Nilsson, Salix aims to offer a more comprehensive fastening solution to construction, industrial and infrastructure customers.

Founded in 1918, Kungälv, Sweden-based Arvid Nilsson operates as a major B2B supplier of industrial fasteners, screws, bolts and nuts across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. In 2025, the company generated revenue of SEK 250 million (US$26.2 million).

Salix Group AB is a Sweden-based B2B trade and distribution platform for building-related products, packaging, home and garden, and forestry and agriculture across the Nordic region and broader Europe.
