Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Co., LLC has acquired Charlotte, NC-based Threadline Products, Inc., expanding its manufacturing capabilities and East Coast presence. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Combining Charlotte’s fabrication and threading capabilities with our in-house hot-dip galvanizing capacity in South Carolina allows us to keep more work within the Portland Bolt network, shorten lead times, and offer customers a broader, more integrated solution,” stated Portland Bolt CEO Blake Ray.

Founded in 1984, Threadline manufactures custom anchor bolts, threaded rod, and fabricated structural steel products for the construction, steel fabrication and DoT markets. The company was co-owned by Jennifer Miller and Josh Miller.

In 2022, Threadline combined with fellow Charlotte-based fabricator Atlantic Bolt, nearly doubling its manufacturing and warehousing capacity, and later consolidating operations at a single Charlotte headquarters.

Three years later, Threadline acquired the former Atlantic Fastener/Würth facility in Greensboro, NC.

Portland Bolt will retain Threadline’s team and continue operations at the Charlotte facility, which will be renamed Portland Bolt Charlotte.

In 2025, Portland Bolt more than doubled the size of its Southeast manufacturing facility in North Augusta, SC, to 62,500 sq ft.

Founded in 1912, Portland Bolt manufactures anchor bolts, nonstandard construction fasteners in Portland, OR; Charlotte; North Augusta, SC., Bellows Falls, VT; and Jordan, NY. Portland Bolt ships products to more than 25 countries for the infrastructure, non-residential construction, government, general industrial, and steel fabrication markets.
