Interstate Threaded Products has been acquired by Austin, TX-based Rox Capital Partners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1973, Dallas-based ITP manufactures and distributes specialty fasteners for the infrastructure, power generation, construction, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing and agriculture markets.

As part of the transaction, Rick Stone will remain president of ITP and continue leading day-to-day operations.

The deal establishes a new industrial fastener platform that the private equity firm plans to expand through organic growth initiatives and future acquisitions. By combining ITP’s manufacturing capabilities, customer relationships and industry expertise with additional acquisitions, the firm aims to build a scaled platform capable of serving customers across a wider geographic footprint and broader range of industrial applications.

“We are excited to partner with Rick Stone and the entire Interstate Threaded Products team,” said Mark Sparrow, managing partner of Rox Capital Partners. “ITP has built an outstanding reputation over more than five decades by delivering exceptional products and service to its customers. The company’s strong market position, loyal customer relationships, and commitment to operational excellence make it an ideal fit for Rox.”

The deal comes amid continued investor interest in industrial manufacturing and distribution businesses that serve essential end markets.

Founded in 2017, Austin, TX-based Rox Capital Partners focuses on investments in manufacturing, distribution, industrial and healthcare businesses.
