Huyett hired German Ibañez as its first regional sales manager dedicated solely to serving customers in Mexico.

With 15 years of experience, Ibañez has a “commanding background in industrial sales and a strong track record of developing cross-border commercial strategies,” the Kansas-based fastener distributor noted.  

He joins Huyett from JM Tor Par, where he served as commercial director from 2017-2026.

Ibañez earned a Bachelor of International Business from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico in Mexico, an MBA from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico, and a Mastering Sales Certificate from Northwestern University/Kellogg School of Management.

Founded in 1906, Minneapolis, KS-based Huyett is a master distributor of non-threaded fasteners.
