General Motors Fastening Engineering Group Manager Larry Russell has retired after 36.5 years.

“Thanks to all of you that I have worked with throughout my career, he stated. “Your support, assistance and friendship has meant everything to me.”

Russell joined GM in Warren, MI, in 1989, where he worked for more than three decades in Fastening Engineering and the application of fasteners in vehicle body, interior, exterior and electrical attachments.

He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
