GF (General Fasteners Company) promoted John Hickey to President.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue building on GF’s legacy of reliability, innovation, and partnership, going forward,” Hickey stated.

Hickey joined GF in 2019 and most recently served as VP of Strategic Operations and Sales. Prior to that, he was Senior Director National Operations for Optimas Solutions (2012-19).

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Canisius University.

Founded in 1952, GF is a privately owned distributor of fasteners and assembly components for automotive, heavy truck, industrial, medical and military markets. The company operates an engineering and testing facility in Madison Heights, MI, as well as 12 regional distribution centers in the U.S. and Mexico.
