GF (General Fasteners Company) hired fastener industry veteran Barbara Barg as Sourcing Specialist.

Barg joins General Fasteners from Field Fastener, where she worked for nearly seven years as a sourcing/quoting analyst. During her 27-year career, she has also worked for Supply Technologies, Optimas Solutions, Anixter Fasteners, and Shamrock International Fasteners.

Founded in 1952 by Jerome Grossman and Simon Diamond, GFC is a privately owned distributor of fasteners and assembly components for automotive, heavy truck, industrial, medical and military markets. The company operates an engineering and testing facility in Madison Heights, MI, as well as 12 regional distribution centers in the U.S. and Mexico.
