The Fastener Training Institute (FTI) will host the next Fastener Training Week in Chicago from August 31 - September 4. The event will be held at Sable at Navy Pier Chicago.
The program includes off-site plant tours, case studies, hands-on demonstrations using gauges and calipers, learning labs, and in-depth sessions covering quality assurance, sampling plans, fastener failures, print reading, and thread technology standards.
Industry experts will lead the training, including Laurence Claus and Salim Brahimi from the Industrial Fasteners Institute.
Students will also have time to explore the tabletop exhibition and network with other fastener professionals. Students who pass the final exam will earn the Certified Fastener Specialist designation.
“The need for skilled professionals in the fastener industry spans the world,” said Jo Morris, Managing Director of FTI. “With Chicago serving as a major travel hub, this session is especially convenient for those traveling from overseas.”
FTI also held a Fastener Training Week at the Charlotte Convention Center from May 4-8.
