Fastener Industries, Inc. has acquired Vamp Screw Products Company as a wholly owned subsidiary.

Founded in 1942, Gibraltar, MI-based Vamp Screw Products supplies high-quality fasteners to distributors throughout the Midwest, including Buckeye Fasteners Co., Fastener Industries’ primary distribution company.

“Vamp has been a reliable and trusted supplier to Buckeye Fasteners for over 25 years,” stated Fastener Industries CEO Bob Perry. “Their name is well known as a high-quality supplier of nuts in the fastener industry.”

Vamp Screw Products was founded by Paul Topolewski and Mary Topolewski, together with their sons Vincent Topolewski and Albert Topolewski. In 1992, Dave Topolewski and Allan Topolewski took over the company from their father and uncle. Dave became President, and Allan became VP.

Allan Topolewski will remain as GM to lead the transition and train his replacement, Dave Winsjansen. All current Vamp employees will be retained, and the company will continue operating under the Vamp Screw Products name.

Berea, OH-based Fastener Industries manufactures small rivets, large rivets, shoulder rivets, drilled products, knurled pins, grooved pins and special shaved fasteners. Employee owned since 1980, Fastener Industries is the parent company of a group of businesses that includes Buckeye Fasteners Co., Modern Fasteners Co., The Ohio Nut and Bolt Company, Ohio Nut & Bolt of Canada, Ltd., Brainard Rivet Co., Joseph Industries, Inc., and Die Co.
