Fastenal reported direct fasteners/hardware (OEM) sales increased 18.4% to $167.6 million in April, while indirect fasteners/hardware (MRO) sales gained 19% to $79 million during the month.

Overall sales in April jumped 14.3% to $790.5 million, while daily sales rose 14.3% to $35.9 million.

Sales in the U.S. improved 13.2% to $655.3 million (82.9% of overall sales), while sales in Canada/Mexico increased 18.6% to $108.3 million (13.7% of overall sales), and “rest of world” sales climbed 26.6% to $26.9 million (3.4% of overall sales).

April sales to heavy manufacturing customers rose 17.7%, while other manufacturing sales climbed 10.5% and non-residential construction sales gained 20.3%.

Total personnel grew 2.4% to 24,741 in April.

In the opening quarter of 2026, direct fasteners/hardware (OEM) sales increased 13.8% to $462.2 million, while indirect fasteners/hardware (MRO) sales gained 17.3% to $220.1 million.
