Netherlands-based Fabory has acquired Metrik Fasteners B.V. and Stern Instruments B.V. for an undisclosed sum.
The deal strengthens Fabory’s specialist support for customers across the Benelux petrochemical and energy markets. While Fabory is positioned in large-scale turnarounds and MRO supply, Netherlands-based Metrik brings additional expertise in complex fastening applications and specialist energy projects.
The acquisition also creates further growth opportunities in Belgium, where Metrik holds exclusive distribution rights., CEO of Fabory, said:

As part of the agreement, control valve parts supplier Stern Instruments will also join Fabory.
Founded in 1947 as Borstlap & Sons, Fabory employs 1,100 to supply fasteners to more than 60,000 customers in EU markets through 44 branches in 13 countries.
