After decades of growth, rivet maker Edson Manufacturing is expanding by purchasing a new facility in Wolcott, CT, according to the Hartford Business Journal.

Longtime partners John F. Famiglietti Sr. and Leland Gaw, who bought Edson in 1997, are investing $4 million in a new facility as the company continues to expand its precision fastener business across multiple industries.

Established in 1964, Wolcott-based Edson Manufacturing manufactures blind rivets, washers, eyelet products, fasteners, cold headed products, and rivet tools.
