Decker Manufacturing Corporation appointed Mark Konkle President and CEO. He succeeds Chris Miller, who stepped down for personal reasons.

The grandson of founding member Walter Konkle, Mark Knoll began his professional career in healthcare, where he advanced to serve as Director of Respiratory and Cardiovascular Services at the University of Michigan. He holds a Master of Business Administration and is certified in Toyota Lean Management and General Motors Total Quality Management. Konkle was elected to Decker’s Board of Directors in December 2023.

Founded in 1927, Albion, MI-based Decker manufactures high-quality fasteners, specializing in in processing, coating/plating, stocking, and shipping fasteners to automotive, structural, agricultural, and other critical industries. Their domestic manufacturing operation features 50 cold-forming machines and advanced tapping and thread-rolling equipment, producing nuts and cold-headed components to exacting standards.
