Barcelona-based CELO Group has expanded its global manufacturing footprint with a new certified production facility in Mexico.

The precision fastening solutions manufacturer said the new factory, located in Guanajuato, represents a milestone in its regional growth strategy and long-term commitment to the North American market.

CELO has operated in Mexico since 2013 as a logistics hub and commercial office, with the new facility building on that presence.

The 24,100 sq ft facility combines office space, a production area, and a warehouse.

The company said the facility is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards and is equipped with advanced machinery capable of producing up to 250 million screws annually.

CELO stated that the additional capacity will improve responsiveness to demand across such  industries as automotive, electronics, medical technology, and industrial applications.

Counting the new facility, the company now manufacturing sites in Spain, the U.S., China, Germany, and Mexico, alongside 10 logistics centers globally.

Founded in 1963, CELO designs, manufactures, and distributes precision screws and assembly components for a range of materials and applications.
