AFC Industries has acquired Allied Inventory Systems — a McKinney, TX-based provider of inventory management and supply chain solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Allied will join AFC’s Aerospace & Defense business unit, strengthening the company’s capabilities to support manufacturers and assemblers operating in aerospace, defense, and other mission-critical industries.
“Allied Inventory Systems has built a strong reputation for supporting customers where it matters most—on the production floor,” stated Kevin Godin, CEO of AFC. “As we continue to expand our Aerospace & Defense platform, the goal is not simply to supply more parts. The winners in this industry are the ones who become indispensable to the customer’s production process.”
Founded in 1958, Allied will continue operating from its McKinney location. The company also operates facilities in Los Angeles and San Diego.
Cincinnati-based AFC provides supply chain management for fasteners, tooling and assembly components.
