Switzerland’s SFS Group has acquired Pro Fastening Systems, a specialist distributor of fasteners and sealants for the commercial and industrial construction industries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition will enable the SFS Group to expand its market presence in the Midwestern U.S. Founded in 1980, Pro Fastening Systems has locations in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis, and generated $30 million in sales during 2023. Web: profastening.com
Pro Fastening Systems will be incorporated into the Triangle Fastener Corporation (TFC) in the Fastening Systems segment.
Through TFC, the SFS Group already supplies fasteners to the North American construction industry through 27 locations. Within the group, TFC is part of the Construction division in the Fastening Systems segment, which supplies application-specific products under the SFS (Construction division) and GESIPA (Riveting division) brands.
Prior to this, the SFS Group acquired a family-run enterprise EPRO D.O.O. on October 1.
