Salem, OR-based fasteners and construction supply distributor R&S Industrial Supplies acquired fellow Oregon fastener distributor SASCO. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1979, Medford, OR-based SASCO distributes fasteners, industrial and construction supplies, and cutting tools from a a 12,000 sq ft warehouse.

“After over 34 years of service to our customers, Steve & Cheryl (Dunham) have retired,” the former owners posted on LinkedIn. “We will always value our relationships with both our customers and valued suppliers. Thank you all for your loyalty and partnerships.”

R&S said the deal enables the company to merge resources and optimize operations for improved customer service.

“The acquisition of SASCO represents a significant step forward for R&S Industrial Supplies,” R&S owner Rob Hilfiker stated. “This expansion not only broadens our regional presence but also allows us to better serve our customers by uniting two organizations with a shared dedication to excellence.”

R&S is a family-owned company that offers a range of industrial supplies, including hardware, abrasives, drill bits, electrical supplies and spray paint. The company operates facilities in Salem and Eugene.
