Oregon-based Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Co. is expanding its South Carolina operations by building a $4.3 million production facility expected to create 21 jobs.

“Portland Bolt is excited to be growing our manufacturing footprint at our South Carolina location and especially appreciate Edgefield County’s assistance and desire for this growth,” stated CEO Blake Ray.

Portland Bold acquired its original North Augusta manufacturing facility from Southern Anchor Bolt in June to serve its “significant” East Coast customer base. The new facility will house an additional manufacturing line and expanded production capacity.

Founded in 1912, Portland Bolt manufactures nonstandard anchor bolts and construction fasteners in a 137,000 sq ft facility equipped with a hot-dip galvanizing line. Web: portlandbolt.com
