James Dacey, 77, died September 25 of cancer in northern Kentucky.

He owned D&D Distribution, a manufacturer’s representative company for specialty fasteners and welding equipment.

Dacey enjoyed sports, fishing and traveling the country for football games.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Melody Dacey; daughters Julie Keininger and Heather Tomlin (Joel); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
