The National Fastener Distributors Association is taking nominations for its 2024 Fastener Professional of the Year award.The deadline for nominations is February 12.The award was created to honor individuals and companies who make exceptional contributions to their companies and to the industry.The award was initiated in 2017. Honorees include:
- Carmen Vertullo of Carver Engineering & Manufacturing (2023);
- Tim O’Keeffe of G.L. Huyett (2022);
- Jim Derry, Field (2021);
- Don Nowak, Falcon Fastening Solutions (2020);
- Kevin Queenin, Specialty Bolt & Screw (2019);
- James Ruetz, AIS (2018);
- and Robbie Gilchrist, Capital Marketing (2017).
Membership in NFDA is not a requirement. Self-nominations are acceptable, as well as nominations by others.The award will be presented at the NFDA annual meeting on June 11-14 at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel in Irving, TX. Web: NFDA-fastener.org
