The Metropolitan Fastener Distributors Association postponed a tabletop / golf event scheduled for 2024, president Mike White announced.
White noted in a letter to members that between the August FSTNR Week in Chicago and the International Fastener Expo in September would challenge attendance at the MFDA event. The board chose to reschedule at “a less populated time so that our members could enjoy the events without the calendar pressure.”
The board is working with Crystal Springs Resort in Sussex, NJ, to reschedule.
White, of Brighton-Best International, noted proceeds from the golf outing help support the MFDA scholarship program.
MFDA has two remaining 2024 events: “Navigating the Legal Landscape,” on October 17 with attorney Ayesha Hamilton; and Toys4Tots on December 3. Web: MFDA.us
