Japanese automotive fastener manufacturer MEIDOH Co. Ltd. has acquired Pilgrim Screw Corp., dba Pilgrim Aerospace Fasteners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1932, Pilgrim manufactures machine screws, tapping screws, OEM standards, small bolts, clevis pins, and specials-to-print for the aerospace market. The company employs 50 workers at its 24,500 sq ft factory in Chandler, AZ. Pilgrim also has an office in Providence, RI. Web: pilgrimaerospace.com

Pilgrim will continue to be led by its existing leadership, including president Geoff Grove.

MEIDOH, a third-generation company owned by the Hasegawa family, is a top supplier of bolts to Toyota. It has manufacturing plants in Japan, China, Indonesia, Thailand and the U.S., with more than 2,000 employees worldwide. Web: meidoh.co.jp/en
