Mark Shannon has retired as President of Tower Fasteners Co., an MSC company.

“After 42 years working along side the greatest people in the fastener industry and for the company that my father started I have officially retired from Tower Fasteners,” he posted on LinkedIn. “I would like to thank our customers and suppliers for their everlasting support and to this industry that has been so good to me and my family. I am proud of our accomplishments and I will cherish the many memories we have created together.”

Founded by Thomas Shannon in 1967, Holtsville, NY-based Tower Fasteners is a valued-added distributor of OEM fasteners and components to the industrial, electronics, medical equipment, aerospace, military, and security, fire and safety sectors. The company operates additional distribution centers in New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Mexico and Texas. In 2018, Tower Fasteners opened its first European distribution center in Dublin, Ireland.
