Howmet Aerospace reports Fastening Systems revenue rose 13% to $392 million in the third quarter of 2024 due to growth in the commercial aerospace market, including wide body aircraft recovery. Segment adjusted EBITDA improved 34% to $102 million, while margin increased 420 basis points to 26%.

Nine-month Fastening Systems revenue increased 16% to $1.17 billion. Capital expenditures dropped 26% to $17 million.

Consolidated Howmet revenue in Q3 climbed 11% to $1.84 billion, driven by commercial aerospace, (+17%), partially offset by commercial transportation (-12%). Operating income margin totaled 22.9%.

“Revenue growth of 11% year over year took account of actions which restricted volumes shipped to the Boeing Company and notably weaker Europe market conditions,” stated CEO John Plant. Web: howmet.com
