Hafren Security Fasteners has acquired all property, rights, titles, and interests of the System Zero® product range of security screws and associated tooling. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Well known in some of the electronics industries, System Zero was owned by PSM International.

The acquisition adds to Hafren’s lineup of specialist and anti-theft screws, nuts and bolts.

System Zero’s unique head style requires a dedicated security driver tool for installation and authorized removal. The combination of the driver tool with the head design gives high torque transmission, which in turn generates high clamp loads.

System Zero is specified by engineers and designers for its blend of features:

  • Effective tamper resistant design
  • Robust performance
  • External drive feature
  • High clamp load
  • Exceptional drive capabilities
  • Range of thread styles available

Hafren Security Fasteners is poised to capitalize on the rising demand for security solutions, especially in industries where the integrity of fasteners is paramount.

The acquisition marks a defining moment for Hafren, the company stated.

“As the global launch takes shape, Hafren Security Fasteners is set to establish itself as the go-to provider for cutting-edge security fastener solutions. The ripple effect of this move will not only be felt within the industry but will resonate across sectors that rely on secure and dependable fasteners.”

System Zero is a tamper resistant, external drive range of screws available in Zinc Plated Steel and A2 Stainless Steel in sizes from M2.5 to M6 machine screws and No.4 to No.8 gauge self tapping screws.
