Fastenal Co. reported fastener sales jumped 15.1% to $226.6 million (31.4% of overall sales) in September, capping off a quarter that saw double-digit fastener sales growth all three months.

Fastener sales in Q3 grew 14.4% to $661.3 million — the company’s third consecutive quarter of growth for fasteners since the first quarter of 2023. Results were driven by a 15.9% increase in OEM fastener sales to $339.2 million, as well as 12% growth in MRO fastener sales to $238.9 million.

“The fastener category experienced improved growth in the third quarter of 2025, as compared to the third quarter of 2024, driven by easier comparisons, increased contribution from large customer signings, better product availability in our distribution centers, and pricing actions implemented in the second and third quarters of 2025,” the company stated.

Overall sales increased 11.7% to $2.13 billion despite sluggish industrial production. Operating income rose 13.7% to $441.5 million, while net income grew 12.6% to $335.5 million.

During the first nine months of 2025, fastener sales totaled $1.91 billion.
