Sweden’s Bulten and ZJK Precision Parts of China will jointly manufacture micro screws in Vietnam, targeting production for 2025, Tri Duc reports.

The two sides will establish joint venture Bulten ZJK Vietnam Company Ltd., with the Swedish firm holding a 51% stake and ZJK holding the remaining 49%.

The JV will rent production facilities.

The deal responds to growing demand for domestically-produced micro screws from international customers in the electronics industry, who have located production in India and Vietnam.

Previously, Bulten partnered in 2023 with China’s ZJK and India’s Radium Fasteners Private Ltd to address the trend.

The expansion furthers Bulten’s strategy to grow beyond its automotive sector strength while highlighting the consumer electronics segment in Asia.

“We see that establishing ourselves in Vietnam will increase Bulten’s sales volumes and benefit our profitability,” stated interim president and CEO Christina Hallin. Web: bulten.com
