Bossard Group completed its acquisition of Germany-based Ferdinand Gross Group, which was announced on October 15.

Founded in 1864 as an ironmongery, Ferdinand Gross Group employs around 260 people in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, and also operates locations in Hungary and Poland. The EUR 80 million group is managed by Gerald Hering, who leads the company in the fifth generation.

The deal expands Bossard’s market presence and customer service in Germany and Eastern Europe in combination with Bossard Germany.

In September, Bossard acquired the French Aero Negoce International (ANI) Group, with locations in France, the U.S., and Malaysia.

In July, Bossard expanded its market position in the Benelux region by acquiring Belgian supplier Dejond Fastening NV.

Founded in 1831, Züg, Switzerland-based Bossard is a $1.25 billion aerospace, automotive and industrial fastener supplier, with more than 2,900 employees at 81 locations in 31 countries.
