Avantus Aerospace hired Adrian Hernandez as the new president for California Screw Products. Previously Hernandez held leadership roles during 12 years at Precision Castparts Corp.

Former California Screw Products president Andreas Zill has transitioned to VP of Engineering for the Avantus Fasteners Group. Zill, who has served in the California Screw Products President role since 2018, will continue to lead strategic projects.

Avantus, formerly Shimtech Group, has six aerospace businesses in North America and the UK:  Attewell Ltd., Bolson Inc., CalScrew, Fastener Innovation Technology, Lamson West Inc. and FTC. Avantus produces 10 million parts per year, including high-strength aerospace fasteners and structural composite assemblies.
