AFC Industries has acquired Ontario, Canada-based based IRWIN Industrial for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 1970, IRWIN was a family-owned distributor specializes in customized vendor-managed inventory programs and supply chain solutions for fasteners and electronic components.

“Canada is an important market for us and we recognized we would need additional resources and infrastructure in Canada for it to reach its full potential,” stated AFC CEO Kevin Godin. “We were looking for a Canadian partner whose culture and approach to the business would fit well with ours. Irwin quickly rose to the top of the list, and we are thankful to be able to add them to the AFC family.”

Cincinnati-based AFC provides supply chain management solutions for fasteners, tooling and assembly components to OEMs. AFC services include VMI, stock and release programs, light assembly, kitting and private labeling.
