Wrought Washer Mfg. President Jeff Liter announced his retirement, effective October 30.

“After a journey of more than 25 years in the fastener industry, I find myself reflecting on friendships and experiences that have shaped my career. Many thanks and much appreciation to those who have supported me along the way.

“As I begin this new chapter I wish the best for Wrought Washer and the talented individuals continuing to drive the company forward. I am looking forward to spending more time with family and friends.”

Prior to his appointment as Wrought Washer president in 2016, he served as president of the Elgin Fastener Group for 8 years. Earlier fastener industry experience included serving as Executive VP for Würth Service Supply.

From 2022-23 Liter served as board chair of the Industrial Fasteners Institute.

Founded in 1887, Milwaukee-based Wrought Washer is the world’s largest manufacturer of standard and special washers for automotive, agricultural, electrical, appliance, construction equipment, and material handling markets.
