Würth Industry North America (WINA) will pay $42.5 million for a distribution center in Columbus, OH, previously owned by MSC Industrial Supply, which shuttered the DC in 2024.

WINA will acquire the 472,000 sq ft facility, along with enough property to potentially expand up to an additional 500,000 sq ft. This expansion is expected to generate 160 new full-time jobs.

“Columbus offers a strategic advantage for Würth Industry’s expansion, with its central location, robust infrastructure, and access to a skilled workforce,” stated Würth MRO, Safety & Metalworking CEO Bastian Rottenberg. “This facility will allow us to better serve our customers across the US through enhanced distribution capabilities.”

WINA said the investment emphasizes the company’s dedication to providing faster service, improving product availability and boosting operational efficiency for customers across the country.

WINA is a $1 billion division of the Würth Group, with 63 locations supplying 420,000 fasteners and C-parts plus services.
