Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported record sales in its fastener manufacturing business (RB&W Corp.), with revenue growing 10% in 2024 due to high customer demand in North America and Europe.
Supply Technologies segment sales, including fasteners, grew 2% to $181.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, driven by increases in aerospace and defense, heavy-duty truck, electrical distribution and consumer electronics. Sales in the aerospace and defense end market increased 21%.
Segment operating income climbed 13.5% to $15.9 million, with operating income margin up 80 basis points higher.
Full-year Supply Technologies segment sales, including fasteners, rose to a record $779 million, driven by a 21% increase in aerospace and defense demand. Operating margin improved 200 basis points to a record 9.7%.
Park-Ohio entered the fastener business in 1995 by acquiring RB&W. Subsequent fastener acquisitions included Arden Industrial Products Inc., Arcon Fastener Corp., Delo Screw Products Co., Direct Fasteners, Gateway Industrial Supply and Columbia Nut & Bolt Corp., and Purchased Parts Group Inc., and Southern Fasteners & Supply.
