Former Mid-West Fastener Association director Nicholas “Nick” Viggiano, 70, died September 28, 2025.

Viggiano dedicated over 50 years to the fastener industry, most recently as VP of Supply Chain at Brighton-Best International.

“He was a true fastener industry veteran whose knowledge, mentorship, and friendships extended around the world,” MWFA commented. “Nick was instrumental in developing educational programs for the MWFA and played a valued role on our Scholarship Committee, where he took great joy in helping students pursue their goals. He also lent his expertise to the FQA advisory committee, shaping legislation that has guided our industry standards for decades.”

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name to Folds of Honor or the National Organization for Rare Disorders.
