Fastener manufacturer Metallics Inc. announced plans to close its facility in Bristol, CT, next year and eliminate 33 jobs.

Founded in 1959, Metallics operates in coordination with its affiliate, Avanti Screw, Inc. Metallics has been owned by NSI Industries since 2022.

Huntersville, NC-based NSI Industries was founded in 1975 to manufacture products for the electrical supply and HVAC industries.
