Holly McDaniel has been named Woman of the Year by Women in The Fastener Industry (WIFI).

McDaniel is Sales Manager at WCL Company, where she started as a sales rep in 2005.

“This award isn’t just about me, it represents countless women who have paved the way before me,” she stated on LinkedIn. “Being part of such an amazing industry for the last 29 years has been a journey of growth not only for myself, but for the fastener industry.

“To women new to the industry, my advice for you is simple: Be you, be relentless in pursuing your passions, don’t ever be afraid to look a challenge in the eye, and always use your unique perspective to innovate new ideas that will shape you and your future in this industry.”

WIFI also recognized Dan Duffield , Sales Manager at Wyandotte Industries, with its Man Up award.

In addition, Jennifer Sturm of Empire Bolt & Screw was named WIFI’s Woman in Business for 2025.

Founded in 2009, WIFI works to unite, educate, mentor and encourage women in the fastener industry.
