Matt Kitchens of California Service Tool Inc. is the 2026 president of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association.

Kitchens is VP of sales for the Hayward, CA-based California Service, a STAFDA member since 1977. He succeeds Dale Hah II of Denver, CO-based AIS Industrial & Construction.

Erika Scherman is VP. She is president and owner of Blaine, MN-based MC Tool & Safety Sales, a STAFDA member since 2002.

They took office during STAFDA’s 49th annual convention held November 9-11, 2025, in Phoenix.

Blake Larsen, C.F.C. Supply, West Haven, UT, and Bill Gottmeier, Denali Industrial Supply, Fairbanks, AK, were elected to three-year terms on the board of directors.

Joining STAFDA’s manufacturer liaison committee are Chad Carney, Pyramex Safety, Piperton, TN, and Kirk Strebin, American General Tool Group, Vista, CA.

New members of the Rep Liaison Committee are Chris Morris, Morris Marketing Group, Greer, SC; Eric Stone, Lawless Group - West, Chino, CA; and Craig Yuhas, NACH Marketing, Inc., Galt, CA.

The 50th annual convention will be November 15-17, 2026, in Anaheim.
