ITW reported Automotive OEM sales, including fasteners, dropped 3.7% to $785 million in the final quarter of 2024. Segment sales in North America slipped 5%, while sales in Europe decreased 10%. Sales in China grew 8%. Q4 segment operating income reached $156 million, while margin improved 220 basis points to 19.8%.

Construction Products sales, including fasteners, fell 4.7% to $438 million. Segment sales in North America dropped 4%, while sales in Europe fell 3% and Australia/New Zealand sales declined 8%. Q4 segment operating income totaled $123 million, while margin improved 110 basis points to 28%.

Full-year Automotive OEM sales slipped 1.5% to $3.19 billion. Segment operating income totaled $625 million, while margin gained 230 basis points to 19.6%.

Construction Products sales for 2024 dropped 6.1% to $1.91 billion. Segment operating income totaled $559 million, while margin improved 90 basis points to 29.3%.

Consolidated ITW revenue declined 1.3% to $15.9 billion in 2024. Operating income grew 6% to $4.3 billion, while operating margin increased 170 basis points to 26.8%.
