International Fastener Expo owner Emerald X appointed Kerry Tyler to lead IFE.
She replaces Morgan Wilson, who directed the show for four years.
Based in Alpharetta, GA, Tyler has a decade of trade show experience with Emerald. She earned a BS in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina.
“With her strong background in event management and a deep commitment to creating valuable experiences for exhibitors and attendees, she is a fantastic addition to our team,” stated Emerald senior VP Renan Joel. “I am confident that under her leadership, the International Fastener Expo will continue to grow and provide exceptional value to our partners and stakeholders.”
Tyler will attend Fastener Fair Global in Stuttgart on March 25-27.
Wilson Pushed Out

Wilson was pushed out in an organizational restructuring, he wrote on LinkedIn.
“While it wasn’t my decision to leave, I’m deeply grateful for the experiences, growth, and the opportunity to oversee such an impactful event.”
Wilson was recruited to join Emerald based on his decade of fastener distribution experience. He joined Emerald in 2016 as business development manager, and was promoted to IFE show director in 2020.
“I’m incredibly proud of the work I accomplished during my time at Emerald, particularly in transitioning the International Fastener Expo during acquisition phase and watching the event grow over the years.”
The next IFE event is scheduled for Sept. 15-17 in Las Vegas.
