Böllhoff expanded its operations to Guangzhou to enhance support for customers in Southern China. The 6,500 sq ft site comprises a sales office and warehouse and is staffed by eight employees.

“With two locations in China, we are now better equipped to meet the evolving requirements of our local customers,” stated Böllhoff.

Böllhoff first entered the Chinese market in 1999 with a sales office in Shanghai, before relocating to Wuxi five years later to open a facility that combines sales, production and logistics.

For 26 years, the Wuxi site has produced fasteners specifically for the Asian market, including RIVKLE® blind rivet nuts and studs, threaded inserts and plastic fasteners. It remains Böllhoff’s first production facility in Asia and currently employs more than 330 people.

Germany-based Böllhoff is a fourth-generation family-run fastener group with 3,000 employees at 37 locations in 24 countries.
