E-Z LOK hired Florida-based NorthStar Sales & Marketing as Southeastern sales representative. NorthStar will cover Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

NorthStar owner and president Mickey Matheny has 50 years of fastener industry experience. He started his career with importer Allied International in Rye, NY, as Southeastern Sales Manager. After a decade, he became Mill Division Director with Heads and Threads International. Matheny has been an independent manufacturing agent for 31 years, establishing NorthStar in 2009.

“We want to continue to grow in the Southeast and expand business with both new and existing distributors in the area. Mickey’s decades long involvement in the fastener industry in that territory makes him a great fit,” stated E-Z LOK sales & marketing director Kyle Lindsly-Roach.

Founded in 1956, Gardena, CA-based E-Z LOK is a third-generation family owned and operated manufacturer and master distributor of threaded inserts for metal, plastic and wood.
