Swedish fastener manufacturer Bufab signed a framework agreement with the defense, aerospace and security company Babcock International Group to supply fasteners and associated C-parts.

As part of the agreement, Babcock will gain access to Bufab’s on-site digital solutions, designed to streamline procurement processes and optimize production flow.

“This is a significant milestone for the business. It reflects the trust placed in our team and our capabilities,” said Scott Wheeler, Managing Director of Bufab UK. “By integrating our on-site digital solutions, we are not only supplying fasteners and C-parts, we’re driving innovation and supporting Babcock’s major programs.”

Recently, Bufab appointed Marcus Söderberg as CFO, effective March 2026.

Helena Häger, Finance Director for Region Europe North & East, will serve as acting CFO until Söderberg assumes the position.

Founded in 1977, Bufab distributes fasteners and C-parts through more than 1,300 employees at 42 subsidiaries in 28 countries.
