Böllhoff Group acquired industrial fasteners and installation tools distributor KEL Bulgaria Ltd.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Formalized in January, the deal gives Böllhoff a foothold in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, with a new office and warehouse.

“The aim of the Böllhoff site in Bulgaria is to support local customers with our entire know-how in the field of joining technology – and thus gain further market share,” stated Böllhoff managing partner Wilhelm A Böllhoff. “Numerous tier 1 suppliers to the automotive industry are represented on the Bulgarian market, among others.

“In addition, the country has strong sheet metal and aluminum processing industries.”

Germany-based Böllhoff is a fourth-generation family-run fastener group with 3,000 employees at 36 locations in 24 countries.
