Field chairman Bill Derry received the Ambassador of the Poor Award, the highest recognition presented by Hope for Haitians.

The award acknowledges Derry’s years-long commitment to serving the people of Haiti as a donor, advocate and Hope for Haitians board president.

“Bill’s connection to Haiti began over a decade ago, when he and one of his sons worked hands-on to bring solar power to a school in Port-au-Prince,” Field stated.

“Since then, his dedication has only grown—serving on the Board of Directors, leading as Board President, and inspiring others with his generosity and servant leadership.”

In 2023, Derry celebrated 50 years in the fastener industry.
