A Belgian fastener supplier has acquired a counterpart in the neighboring Netherlands for an undisclosed sum.

Pgb-Europe said that the addition of GebuVolco would bolster its product lineup and its customization capabilities.

Founded in 1947, GebuVolco manufactures and distributes fasteners, clamps and brackets, including the Silvermate and QZ fastener brands. It also holds “a leading position” in the Dutch private-label market, Pgb-Europe officials said.

GebuVolco will continue to operate as an independent business within the Pgb-Holding group.

“This step fits perfectly within pgb-Holding’s growth strategy to strengthen its position in the European market and to create sustainable value for its customers, employees and partners,” Pgb-Holding CEO Frederik Pennoit and Gebu Holding owner Dirk de Pijper wrote in a joint statement.

Founded in 1956 as Pennoit-Grootaert Bolts by Marcel Pennoit and Henriette Grootaert, Pgb-Europe supplies fasteners.
