Global fastener manufacturer ARaymond acquired FACIL, a company it had jointly owned with Germany’s KAMAX since 1999. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Genk, Belgium, FACIL employs 650 people to supply fasteners to OEMs of light and commercial vehicles, trucks and buses. In 2024, the company generated EUR 505 million (US$589.1 million), most of it in North America, followed by Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

FACIL will continue to operate autonomously, with distinct operational and sales structures.

Founded in 1865, the ARaymond family business has 8,000 employees in 25 countries to design, manufacture and market assembly and fastening systems.
